The Throat (5th Chakra)

Location:  It sits directly in the center of the V of the collarbone.

Description:  This is the center for all communication, internally and externally, creativity and self-expression.  Everything you think and say affect this center. The possibility of change, transformation and healing are located in this center.  If you tend to be dishonest with yourself, or others, you may undergo a sore throat. Sometimes, the throat can even be harmed by not expressing emotions that need acknowledgment.

The Throat Chakra, also, is the center for sound, charisma, honesty, self-appreciation, and self-criticism. Expression of creativity, through speech, thought and writing, arise from this center. When this Chakra is unbalanced you may feel confused, judgmental, unsocial, weak, and unable to express yourself, verbally or creatively.
